Did you ever wonder what started our company on its mission?
Eczema. Contact dermatitis. Itchy, raw, red skin that won’t stop. So many people suffer from it and wish for a treatment to work. “Skin Repair“, a calendula-based salve created by Basic Naturals; was developed to soothe and treat the founder’s severe case of contact dermatitis/eczema. The need for a healing salve for eczema that did not involve steroidal creams or expensive treatments inspired Basic Naturals’ founder to put his problem-solving nature to the test. It worked! After much trial and error, he was able to create a salve that brought incredible relief for him and became a multipurpose ointment for his whole family. After trying so many products before, he was overjoyed that his Calendula salve worked. It was the best. (For more information on the development of Skin Repair read this!)
Through extensive research, he and his partner have since added 20+ products to their line that run the gamut of facial care, treatments, and body care. Basic Naturals sells direct to consumers through their website, Amazon, Etsy, and at in-person farmers’ markets and events when in session; as well as through Faire to stores and boutiques wholesale.
